Restoration 1 of Horry County is looking for an experienced restoration technician with at least one year of hands-on experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage cleanup, or a related restoration field.

- Minimum 1 year of restoration/mitigation experience
- Experience with water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and restoration equipment
- Comfortable using moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air scrubbers, and common demolition tools
- Ability to document jobs accurately with photos, notes, readings, and mobile software
- Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Respond to water, mold, fire, and other property-damage emergencies
- Perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, equipment setup, monitoring, and removal
- Assist with mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and biohazard-related projects as needed
- Take moisture readings and monitor drying progress
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Document work accurately using photos, notes, readings, and job-management software
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management
- Protect customers' homes and belongings while work is being performed
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Participate in the company's on-call rotation
- IICRC Certifications such as WRT, AMRT, ASD, and/or FSRT
- Experience with trauma/crime scene clean-up
- Knowledge and experience with Encircle and/or Xcelerate job management systems
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- Ability to travel locally
